A wonderful jump to the modern day
This is for the V1 Rocker and my issues may have been fixed with the new V2.
After the chain tensioning system failed on my 2010 Stump Jumper SS I was in the market for a new carbon SS with all the new bells and whistles. I was looking for a fun trail bike that would also hold up in some competitive races for the coming season. I picked up the bike from the store in December and rode it a few times in Grand Junction/Fruita just to hit some dirt and see what it's about and wow I was impressed!
This bike is super fun and responsive. The geometry makes for easier(as much as there can be) climbing and it flexes nicely with high amounts of torque. On the downhill, I found myself slightly over-biked because this thing just wanted to go! At higher speeds (which I'm not yet comfortable with) the bike really comes alive and wants to go harder and faster. It's nimble and responsive both up and downhill. Through and through I'm very impressed with this bike.
When buying I called the store because I had several questions and a few things I wanted to change which weren't offered online. In particular, I didn't want the belt drive system as I have a full set of 17t-23t cogs and at the time the 5-star build came with a Stan's wheelset and I wanted an i9 wheelset. They were super friendly and just as stoked as I was and willing to change the build to my request.
